New Drop-off Stations for Recycling and Trash
Two free city Drop-off Stations are open now when you need to get rid of brush, big trash, bagged garbage, recyclables, tires (limit four), old furniture and minor remodeling debris.
Visit a Drop-off Station when you don't want to use one of your four big trash pickups. Drop off recyclables after a big party. After June 30, use Drop-off Stations for excess trash that won't fit in the garbage cart.
Drop-off Stations are free, easy-to-use and don't smell or charge like the landfill!
Drop-off Station locations are:
Hours: Monday-Friday 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Bring a recent water bill (renters may show their driver's license) to prove you live in Fort Worth. You must unload your own materials; city workers will check identification and direct you to the proper containers.
Drop-off Stations will NOT accept: appliances containing coolant or gasoline, computers and electronics, large pieces of concrete and rock, explosives and ammunition, gasoline, oil, antifreeze, paint, thinners, major construction and demolition debris, business waste or hazardous waste.
The city has two additional free drop-off sites for limited or special materials:
