Stonemeadow Pond Progress

Stone Meadow Home Owners,

We have an update regarding our two acre pond. Many of you have seen the contractor sign erected by Ocean Dr. and the erosion control placed where the side walk will be poured. I'm told this is a 60 day process, not counting weekends or bad weather, which means it will be completed by the end of the year according to Eric Seebock with the City of Fort Worth. As you can see from the pictures above, it is quite an extensive walking area. The sidewalk will be 6 feet wide and will begin by the Summer Creek Ranch twin ponds. It will go over a pedestrian bridge that crosses a natural spring culvert that flows into our pond. The walkway then crosses Valleyside Drive and begins it's winding towards the west and the original Summer Creek neighborhood. At the Summer Creek playground, an artist will erect an art plaza. The walking trail will then wind back east and finish near Geranium Ct., where a 24x24 open air, metal roof pavilion will be built, complete with park benches. The playground, in the picture, will be constructed at a later date and will be located on the empty lot facing Ocean Dr. and backing to Geranium.

I hope you are as excited as I am about this project! Also, please note my new email address jonwise@stonemeadow.net.
